YOUTH PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR
A Youth Program Instructor has shared responsibility for conducting rehearsals and performances. The program is designed for participants ages 8-14 and runs for 4 weeks beginning on Tuesday, June 13. Rehearsals take place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00 until 7:30 pm and performances on July 8 and 9, 2023. During rehearsals, participants work with a team of Instructors, UD students, and adult volunteers to work on meeting group goals that are set forth by Instructors at the start of the program. Instructors will be responsible for helping to create lesson plans for each rehearsal that include warm-ups, games, and role-play sessions with a focus on participant goals. The purpose of this program is to provide our neurodiverse youth an opportunity to interact with peers in a creative, accommodating, and flexible environment. Participants will focus on social and communication skills. Instructors will receive a stipend after completion of the program.

YOUNG ADULT PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR

The Young Adult Program Instructor has shared responsibility for conducting rehearsals and performances. The program is designed for participants ages 15-18 and runs for six weeks beginning on Tuesday, June 13. Rehearsals take place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:30 until 6:00 pm, and performances on July 8 and 9, 2023. The purpose of this program is to provide our high school-aged students an opportunity to interact with peers in a creative, accommodating, and flexible environment. Participants will focus on social and independency skills, with an emphasis on self-advocacy. Instructors will be responsible for creating lessons plans and leading rehearsals. Instructors will receive a stipend after completion of the program.
